I am stunned that at this price, these shoes have that same felt-like coating on the bottom that is on every cheap big box store shoe. It is very slippery, and my daughter always falls hard within the first two minutes of wearing a pair with that. I associate it with cheapness, but here it is on pricey shoes. Does anyone know what the purpose of that coating supposedly is? I have passed up so many beautiful shoes because they have that dangerous coating. It appears to be applied on purpose. I'm puzzled. Please, if you know anything about the rationale behind that coating on the sole, please take a moment to reply. Many thanks!
