I ordered these shoes for my nine-year-old grandaughter who had been wishing for a pair of "high" heels. The height of the heel is perfect, not too high, but definitely a step away from the little girl style! The ankle strap made it possible to order the shoes a half size bigger than the regular size to allow for some growth, and doesn't impede the comfort or ease of walking. Beautiful, feminine shoes. She was thrilled!
