I ordered this shoe for a vacation we were taking to a waterpark. The place had indicated that there was a lot of walking and recommended water shoes. This shoe is as modern and classy as a water shoe can get. The sole is very durable and better than traditional water shoes. The straps do not rub or cause any pain. In terms of sizing I generally either wear an 8 or an 8.5 in all shoes. In this shoe I wore a 8.5. Hopefully that helps to choose your size if you are often in between like I am. I am super happy with this shoe and the styling of it definitely lends to more than just water parks. I will be wearing it all summer long.

I wanted to love these shoes, but alas, I could not. Ill-fitting to begin with, they pissed me off more and more as time went on. The strap wouldn't stay shut, and to make matters worse, I bought them on the 9th of June and on the 20th of July they were irreparably broken with only minimal wear. The ankle strap just went out. And no, I had not worn them more than 5 times. Once to the beach, several times to the park and then some days during my morning subway commute. Not cool for an expensive shoe I had spent the money on, expecting it would at least make it through one summer. I called Jambu service, and apparently they are going to email me some options, but for the hassle, I wouldn't buy this shoe or this brand again. Let's see how their customer service handles my refund. That's what I want...a refund.

I read every review about these shoes, and followed what people said-- I ordered up a half size, but that was a huge mistake! These shoes are EXACTLY TRUE TO SIZE, unless you have strangely shaped feet. I wear an 8 1/2 M. The size 9 I ordered was clearly too big-- the straps were too long to tighten snugly and the toe and heel were too long. When you pay this much for a casual shoe, you shouldn't have to compromise on size!Note to Amazon: It sure would be nice if there were phone number you could call when you have questions about sizing PRIOR to purchasing. Why isn't there?? It should be at the bottom of the webpage for every item sold/shipped by Amazon.Resolution: After realizing I'd ordered a half size too big, I called Amazon's customer service department and they were most helpful-- they're over-nighting another pair to me, so I'll have them in time for my trip this week.About the Shoe: The shoes are extremely comfortable--they look as great in person as they do online. And, they feel amazing...like a tennis shoe, but better! They have beefy soles and great arch support. And, the heel strap provides nice, stay-put heel support. I think I'm going to love them when the right size gets here tomorrow!Thanks for your help, Ruth Anne from Amazon's Customer Service Department!
