I had to send this sandal back because it was too big but I will reorder in the right size. This is an awesome sandal. I have gotten these sandals for my daughter for the last four summers. My daughter has a narrow foot with a narrow heal. What does this mean? It means she will literally walk right out of her shoes if the fit is not right. This particular style of shoe is excellent for her because her foot doesn't have lots of room to wiggle around in. The sole is very thick rubber and allows her to run, jump and climb. She is very hard on shoes but she has never been able to wear the sole down and the shoe is in such great condition that I am always able to give them to someone else after she has outgrown them. I can not say this for many of her shoes. This is an excellent sandal for a very active child.

This adorable shoe is sadly waiting in the closet for a year or so until my daughter grows into it. I measured her feet and tried following Amazon's sizing chart (since Hoy provides none) and instead of getting a shoe that was slightly larger than her size, which was my aim, we got a behemoth that was at least 2 sizes too big. If you're a half size and considering ordering up a size, DON'T! Order down one size and you can still expect it to be a bit loose.
