My almost 4 year old daughter was in my nephew's wedding as a flower girl. Her dress was an airy white thin silk shantaug with sheer gloves, perfect for the hot weather where the wedding was taking place. So, heavy mary janes or chunky heel or patent leather type shoes were out, and that was about all I was seeing in my daughter's size. Plus, compared to the dress, which was made of natural materials, any man made looking shoe, which most were, brought down the look of the entire outfit, cheapened it.We were told to dress our daughter ourselves, and I thought the dress would be the hard part of her outfit, but the shoes were. It took me until just days before the wedding to find this shoe. I signed up for a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime, so I wouldn't have to pay the expedited shipping fee, and the shoe came right away. (After I received the shoes, I went on Amazon and clicked a button that said do not automatically renew, so it was super easy to cancel.)Anyway, about the shoes, STUNNING! If possible they look even better than the pictures online. I was thrilled with them when I opened the box. True works of art. As for size, given the measurements online, they were perfect in terms of length, but when my daughter tried to try them on, the instep was so low she couldn't even slide her foot all the way forward! Thankfully, we have a shoe repair guy at the mall who is open mall hours. He took them in that evening for stretching overnight. The morning of the wedding, there I was at 10 am, when the store opened, hoping the shoes had stretched sufficiently. They did! Being real leather, they stretched beautifully even giving my daughter extra wiggle room.At the wedding, and after, we received so many comments on the shoes. They seemed to be noticed by almost everyone. Unique little works of art. And, now that the wedding is over, I will only let my daugther put them on to go to dinner or where she will be mostly sitting in a clean area. Beyond that, they are almost too beautiful to wear!

I bought these a size larger than my daughter's foot and they do not fit. The top leather part is so tight. It has no give at all.
