I was skeptical at first about an expensive shoe for an infant, who is growing quicker than most of our tomato plants. I said "but... she will grow out of this faster than I will grow out of my next gadget." However, our daughter (who is just 12 months old) has gone from hating shoes, kicking and writhing in agony, to demanding that these be on her feet nearly at all times.When she wakes up, she immediately goes on a hunt for them. Being yellow, she can usually spot them rather quickly, even when partially hidden under some furniture.She then returns, shoes in both hands, held high above her head, back arched ever so slightly, smiling and making a noise signaling that she wants them to be put on. She wants to wear them around the house, outside, during diaper changes, and even during naps. I guess that is a testament to their comfort. They are almost worn through, as she has worn them almost every day for several months, just in time for her to grow out of them. Still, all the straps, stitches and velcro are holding out as well as the day she first donned them. Our deck has many protruding nails, splinters and other obstacles which these have protected her from. I just hope this isn't the very early start of "a thing."

These are very cute, very soft, supple leather, flexible sole shoes that are good for first walkers. I like that they're sort of sandals but they don't have the stiff soles that most sandals do. My only complaint is that they really get dirty quickly (the downside of how soft they are). My daughter still crawls, climbs, and falls a lot so they're all scuffed up. Wish I knew how to clean them up better and/or restore them to make them last longer, especially for how expensive they were.

Adorable shoe! One thing to keep in mind is the size. We got the 0-6 months and for us, it seems more like she will be 6-9 months old before she could even possibly wear it. My daughter is four months old and the shoe is way too big. She may have unusually small feet, but I think it would be rare for any baby under 3 or 4 months to be able to wear this shoe. However, she will grow into them and they are even curse in person.
