I bought it for my 7 year old daughter after I read the reviews on Amazon, so I bought a size bigger and it was accurate, it does run small. it is a pretty sandal, my daughter loved it. Good with a nice outfit but would not recommend running around in it, the straps are too delicate and thin.

I love reading reviews of products for this very reason. I followed what everyone said about this shoe and ordered a larger size for my daughter. They definitely run small. My daughter is normally a 6 or 6.5 and I ordered a 7. They fit perfectly: nice soft leather and we love the bronze color. Don't hesitate to order these, just order a half size to a whole size bigger.
