Teva has always been a durable great quality product. I had teva sandals for about 12 years. I wore them so much they FINALLY fell apart after 12 years of nonstop daily (6 days a week) usage, including working in them, hiking, camping, rock climbing, canoeing, and many other activities. The only time I didn't wear them was when I went to church.

I picked this sandal for summer time play for a 7 year old. I like that the footbed is wide enought to accomodate her foot and the adjustable straps help. My daughter really doesn't care for this shoe. She has complained numerous times that the shoe is hot and sweaty. The first day I sent her out to play in the grass park, her shoes came back looking about 2 years old. The white apparently is not a good, lasting color. I stupidly picked out the white thinking it would be cooler than a dark color while playing in the SoCal sun.The one good thing is that we have no foot funk which we have gotten with other sandals.
