My four year olds love these "big girl" sandals. They are easy to put on and off with the velcro strap and they seem to be pretty comfy. The girls are used to wearing flip flops though, so I'd recommend making sure you break them in (or your toe joint in) before a long day of wear as the leather is stiff and I could definitely see them hurting a non-seasoned flip flip wearer.
