My son has an XW foot and it is so hard to find shoes for him. He is 3.5 and wears an 10.5XW. There are only a few brands that I can use for him. Some other review on these said they were good for wide feet. I ordered an 11 to be safe. When we got them I undid the Velcro and opened the foot up so I could put his foot in and make sure the footbed was wide enough. Even thought you can adjust the velcro, if the bed is too narrow it will cause blisters. It seemed to just make it. So we decided to keep them. He loves them. They are well made and soft inside. I would recommend these even if your child has a wide foot. Just go up a half size to a full size if you are concerned.

I was pleased to find sandals for less than $20. You never know when your kids will outgrow them overnight. The sandals are very well constructed and I think they will hold up well, even with all the outdoor play and punishment my kids will give them. My daughter wears a size 1.5 but these are in whole sizes so I bought a 2. Unfortunately the 2 is too large so I put the away for next Summer. They seem to run a bit large and a bit wide. My daughter's foot is narrow but we are able to make the sandals fit with the adjustable straps. I would definitely order these again but would go a size down in the future. I do plan to order a pair for my son too.
