Last years version was way better

Bought these for my 2 girls last year, they were so great we came back this year for a another pair. What a surprise to find that the footbed is no longer a smooth leather, but a microsuede that holds dirt, odor and bacteria. my 3 year old has never had foot odor problems, but with this new pair had smelly shoes within the 4th day of wearing them! Totally disappointed. I also paid about $10 more this year than last! Umi, you can do better than this. My older daughter went with a primigi sport sandal that does have a leather (water resistant) footbed, and i am much more satisfied with that purchase.

Fantastic for little feet!

These crocs fit just like the regular, but look a bit different, which I liked. They're great for medium-wide little feet, which my daughter has. It's difficult to find shoes for her that are "tall" enough for her foot. These are easy to slip on and STAY ON all day long. I was worried they would come right off, but they do not budge while she's walking/running. Great shoe and I will buy another pair!

This is our second pair of this style croc. I like them b/c they are super easy like all Crocs but the style is just a little bit different from the traditional ones.

design flaw

While very cute, these shoes broke after two weeks of use by a 1.5 year old. My older boys have had their crocs for years at at time. The souls of their shoes will be slick as ice, but the shoes will hold up. This Candace Clog design is flawed. It broke at the hinge after very little usage. We returned these and I will order my daughter the original croc design.

Not great for little feet

I have bought my children Keen Newport sandals for the last three years and have several pairs myself that I love, but these fell a little short. My husband and I have pairs in adult sizes and really like them, but for my 3 year old daughter, they just didn't work. I had hoped they would appease her love of flip flops while giving her some more protection and support, but the sole is a little too heavy and stiff to work as a flip flop. As many reviewers have mentioned, the back strap is just too flimsy to hold the sandal on. I tried two different sizes for her and they both had different length straps in proportion to the sandal size. She couldn't really walk well in either size, so I opted to go with a different style of Keens. They may work for adults or older children who navigate flip flops better, but I would skip it for the little ones. These style of Keens just don't seem to allow for running and playing as well as others. It doesn't seem to work for rugged play or as a flip flop.I gave them three stars because they are high quality and durable. They just were not functional for my daughter.

Our whole family has these flip flops...the thing I like about these for our toddler is that the back strap is not attached roght on to the sandal so I can easily cut it off when he does not need it anymore.
